Project R.O.O.F
(ROOF OVER ONE MILLION FAMILIES)
The goal of this program is to address the ongoing issues concerning affordable housing. The pandemic has caused HFA to adopt a more seismic shift in the way we repurpose and rethink all sorts of alternative living spaces from 3-D printed homes, tiny houses, and shuttered inner city commercial store fronts to provide a roof over “one-million families” facing or experiencing homelessness.
Program Highlights:
To establish strong relations with community development stakeholders to address the housing distress issues facing communities throughout the country.
· Create a functional & equitable partnership with private investors.
· Acquire, rehabilitate, and repurpose distressed, underutilized properties.
· Address the housing needs of HFA program participants.
